Derek started his electrical journey in New Orleans at age 19 and brings that early drive into every aspect of his work. He enjoys having meaningful responsibilities and being part of a team he trusts and respects. He sees CEC as a place where hard work is recognized and where people are encouraged to grow. For Derek, being part of a team means working toward a common goal, and a job well done leaves no doubt that everything possible was done to succeed. Each day, he shows up focused on achieving success for himself, the company, and his coworkers. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, camping, and tackling DIY projects.
