Project ForemanWhat is your favorite hobby or thing to do with your personal time?
I am a huge fan of racing. I enjoy racing real cars all the way down to racing remote control cars with my kids. If it has a motor, I want to make it faster!
What is something about you that would surprise people that already know you?
- Although I have a lot of experience in the trades, I spent 12 years in upper management in the auto industry. I have been in charge of some of the largest import dealerships in Michigan.
- I was taught the basics of electricity by my father, a master electrician, in my early teens and began helping with small projects at the age of 14.
If you could have dinner with somebody famous, living or dead, who would it be and why?
Jesse James, Customizer – He has inspired me for years. He rose from nothing to a multi-millionaire as a welder and fabricator. His business, West Coast Choppers, sold $100 million dollars in merchandise in 90 days and through it all he still prefers to weld and create. I have always had the “Make It Better Yourself” mindset, and he is living proof that you can make it as far as you want in life.
How do you define “exceptional”?
Exceptional is the willingness to do what other guys won’t. Going above and beyond as a way of life and not an exception or rare occasion.
