LANSING BRANCH: - Formerly Lansing Electric Company
In 1924, Stanley J. Coven, founded Lansing Electric Company, after graduating from Michigan State University with a degree in electrical engineering. Early in Mr. Coven's career, he became partners with Mr. Dempsey Alberts, and they made a lifetime commitment to reliability, innovation, tradition, and results.
In the late 1960's the two business partners passed the family business down to their sons', Dave & James Coven and William Alberts. In January of 1996, the sons' sold the business to Consolidated Electrical Contractors, and by continuing their philosophy; our Lansing Branch has become one of the largest non-union electrical contractors in the Lansing Area.
